CHIEF CHIBWIKA HAILS ECL

By Kawangu Muzhina:Chief Chibwika of the Lunda Speaking people of Mwinilunga district in North Western Province has hailed President EDGAR LUNGU for actualising his promise of providing electricity to the area.President Lungu recently commissioned a 32-kilowatt solar power plant in Chief Chibwika’s chiefdom.Chief Chibwika says the solar power plant will improve the livelihood of the people.He says economic activities in the chiefdom can only be increased once social amenities such as electricity are provided.Chief Chibwika says electricity has come at the right time as it will support activities such as mining, Agriculture and forestry.The chief who spoke to ZNBC News in Lusaka said people should give President Edgar Lungu time to roll out his vision of taking development to parts of the country.Chief Chibwika has also praised the Ministry Mines for providing guidance on how mining activities should be done in his chiefdom.
