CHIBOMBO MFEZ PULLS $160M

(ZANIS)The Chibombo Multi Facility Economic Zone operating under JIANGXI United Industrial Investment Limited has signed six project agreements worth 160 million dollars and set to create over 1,000 jobs.

JIANGXI General Manager XU JIANFENG says the main investor is a tobacco company which is putting in 100 million dollars.

Speaking after paying a courtesy call on Central Province Minister CREDO NANJUWA, Mr. JIANFENG said the investments will create 1-thousand 8-hundred jobs for the local people.

And Mr. NANJUWA called for more investments in the province because of its vast potential.
