Chasefu Health Centre Solar Panels Stolen

August 26, 2019August 26, 20198Solar panels valued at 12 thousand Kwacha have been stolen from Malandula Rural Health Centre in Chasefu district.Eastern province Police Commissioner Lackson Sakala and Chasefu District Health Director, Muyinda Musamba have both confirmed the incidence.Mr. Sakala said the incident happened on Friday last week between 24 and 05 hours.He said so far, no arrest has been made.Meanwhile, Dr. Musamba said the theft has negatively affected operations at the facility as two panels left so far are not enough to cater for the cold room where vaccines are kept.He has since appealed to members of the public to avail the police with information on the theft of the solar panels.(zanis) Post Views: 8
