Chapa returns as NAPSA Stars regroup

NAPSA Stars Football Club players have today, June 21, 2022, reported back for duty as the team begins pre-season preparations ahead of the 2022/2023 MTN Super League campaign.

25 players reported this afternoon with only two players yet to report. Kenyan central defender David Odhiambo and attacking midfielder Danny Silavwe are the two players still expected to report this week.

Present in the Perry Mutapa-drilled squad was defensive midfielder Dickson Chapa who has joined the team back from Zesco United where he was on loan for a season.

The team had a four-week break after the conclusion of the Eden National Division One League which NAPSA Stars FC participated in and finished third.

The 2022 ABSA Cup Champions are in high spirit and expected to travel for their pre-season camping in the first week of July.
