Chambeshi Resigns From Nkana

December 9, 2019December 9, 201932By Chansa Kunda-Beston Chambeshi has thanked Nkana Football Club for giving him the opportunity to coach the most decorated Super league team.Chambeshi who stepped down from his position as Nkana football club head coach yesterday after almost 4 years at the club says Nkana will always remain close to his heart because of the memories he has created both as a player and coach.Chambeshi said he will take some time off to reflect on his coaching career before making his next move.He told ZNBC Sports in Kitwe after meeting the players for the last time that he has not signed any deal as yet, refuting social media reports that he has already signed for Tanzanian giants Simba Football Club.Chambeshi said he has received offers from various clubs but is yet to sign any contract.And Nkana Chief Executive Officer Charles Chakatazya said the club is thankful for his services and will always consider Chambeshi as the Club’s Legend.Chakatazya said Manford Chabinga will continue acting as head coach until Chambeshi’s replacement is found.Chambeshi’s relationship with the club has soured after some poor results forcing him to go into a two-week break.Chambeshi joined Nkana Football Club Technical bench for the third time in 2017.
