Simba Sports Club midfielders Cletus Chota Chama and Rally Bwalya are the first Chipolopolo players to storm camp in Lusaka ahead of back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers next week.

The Tanzania-based duo arrived aboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight at 12:30hours and immediately joined local players that have been preparing for matches against Algeria on Thursday.

Speaking to the FAZ Media team on arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Chama thanked the Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic led Technical Bench for allowing him to be involved in the two qualifier matches.

“It’s a privilege for me to be called by the coach (Micho) to be part of players for the games we are going to play. We believe that nothing is impossible so we have come here to work and we are looking forward to making our fans happy,” Chama said.

“We just need to be united and we need to be focused and dedicate ourselves towards making the nation happy.”

Chama said he was committed to giving his best in Chipolopolo colors and was happy with the level of seriousness that local and foreign-based players have attached to Zambia.

“It won’t be the first time playing with most of the players at the national team level so once we coordinate we will have better chances,” Triple C said.
