CEEC disburses K365m empowerment funds-Mubanga

Rosemary Kamanga-Small and Medium Enterprises Minister ELIAS MUBANGA is impressed with the performance of the ministry this year.

Mr. MUBANGA says his ministry has given out K365m in empowerment funds through the Citizen Economic Empowerment Commission.

He says the Marketeers booster loan was given out and most marketeers have received the funds.

Mr. MUBANGA says over 62,000 marketeers have been empowered.

He says the ministry also empowered farmers through mechanized farming and entrepreneurs through trade financing.

The Minister spoke in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka.
