CDF helping develop Ikeleng’i

(ZANIS) Ikeleng’i Town Council Secretary, JOSEPH NONDE says the Constituency Development Fund -CDF- has helped to develop the district.

Mr NONDE indicated that the district had a total of 33 projects that were under construction before the increased allocation of CDF.

speaking when a team of officers from ZANIS Headquarters in Lusaka called on him at his office Mr. NONDE stated that with the increased CDF, the committee apportioned some funds that helped to complete the 33 projects in the district.

And Ikeleng’i District Commissioner, ANDREW MPYAKULA disclosed that the area previously did not have enough classroom blocks for the learners.

Mr MPYAKULA added that the increased CDF has made it possible for the district to construct enough classroom blocks for the learners in line with the presidential directive.
