CCS HANDS OVER CLASSROOM BLOCK TO GOVT

Chambeshi Copper Smelter has handed over a 1 by 3 classroom block to government built at the cost of more than 800 thousand kwacha.
The mining firm has built the facility through its social cooperate responsibility program.
Chambeshi Copper Smelter Deputy Chief Executive Officer Dennis Deng who handed over the facility to government says his company has spent more than 20 million kwacha on various programmes through its social cooperate responsibility.
And speaking during the same event Kalulushi Member of Parliament Kampamba Chewe thanked the mining firm for the gesture.
Mrs. Chewe who is also minister of livestock and fisheries commended the firm for its continued support in bridging the gap that exists in critical areas of service delivery in the education sector.
