“CATHOLICS,GOVT ARE PARTNERS”

By Robert Mwanza -The Catholic Church in Luapula Province says government and the church are great partners in social and economic development of the country.

Saint JOSEPH LUBWE Assistant Parish Priest Father KANJA NGOSA says the Church is happy that government has continued to work with it in transforming the lives of the people in the area.

Father NGOSA further appealed to civil servants to work diligently for the people because their work is a calling from God.

The assistant Priest also implored Zambians to take the COVID-19 pandemic fight seriously in order to reduce the spread of the disease.

Father NGOSA has also called for peaceful campaigns in order to preserve the peace and unity the country continues to enjoy since independence.

He said this in his homily during the Sunday mass which was attended by PF member of the central committee CHITALU CHILUFYA.

And Dr. CHILUFYA assured that government will continue to ask for prayers and counsel from the Church.
