CAMEROON 0-2 ZAMBIA

The Chipolopolo Boys have emerged second at the Pre-CHAN four Nationals tournament in Cameroun.

This is after they beat hosts Cameroon by two goals to nil in the last match of the tournament played this evening.

Zambia scored through Collins Sikombe from close range in the 48th Minute, while the second goal was Zachariah Chilongoshi’s fierce shot outside the 18 yard area in the 59th minute.

Prior to this match, the Copper bullets draw three all against Niger before losing to winners of the tournament Uganda by two goals to nil.

The Chipolopolo finished second on four points together with Niger though separated by goal difference.

Uganda won the tournament with seven points while hosts Cameroon were tail enders with a point.

The Cameroon 2020 CHAN which is taking place this year due to COVID-19 will take place from January 16 to February 8.

Zambia opens its account on January 19 against Tanzania before facing Guinea four days later.

The final group match will be on January 27 against Namibia.
