CAF ENVOYS ZANACO READY- KAINDU

ZAMBIA’s lone envoys in the CAF confederations Cup ZANACO Football club are tonight expected to leave the country ahead of their opening group stage encounter against SC SFAXIEN on Sunday.

The Bankers who have been paired with North African Opponents in Group A’ leave the country at 21:00 hours aboard Qatar Airways as they journey far north to Tunisia.

And Speaking during the team’s training session ahead of the departure; Club Head Coach KELVIN KAINDU said preparations have been progressing well despite having a packed schedule due to back to back action in the super league.

KAINDU said heading into Sunday’s game, the players will be tactically disciplined and play possessive football.

Midfielders BOYD MUSONDA, who makes a return to SC SFAXIEN, said he is eager to be in action.

And KELVIN KAMPUMBU said the players are determined to silence their critics by picking up maximum points in their group stage encounters.

Sunday’s encounter between SC SFAXIEN and ZANACO will kick off at 21:00 hours.
