CAF CC: Zanaco’s opponents jet in ahead of Sunday’s clash

Sensational Zanaco’s opponents for this weekend’s CAF Confederation Cup group stage match day 4 tie Al Ahly Tripoli have arrived in the country.

The Libyan delegation which departed Tripoli around mid-day aboard an Afriqiyah Airways flight touched down at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 20:31 hours on Thursday.

The Bankers are still winless in the group stage and need a win to retain any chance of making it out of the group stage.

Zanaco sit bottom of group A without a single point while the Libyan side are second with six points to their name.

The Bankers ended a nine match winless run over the weekend when they beat Power Dynamos 2-1 at Heroes Stadium.

The return of winger Ackim Mumba gave the Bankers more attacking threat and he was voted man of the match in his first game back since sustaining an injury back in January.

Former Nakambala Leopards winger Felix Bulaya is another asset that was available last weekend for Kelvin Kaindu.

The Bankers will square off with Al Ahly Tripoli on Sunday at 15:00hrs at the National Heroes Stadium.

Tickets for the match have been pegged at K100 for VIP and K20 all round.
