Business Community Urged To Tap Into New Technology Of Electric Cars

Luapula Expo Investments Coordinator Joseph Maopu has urged the Business Community in the country to Tap into the new Technology of Electric Cars and invest in the production of batteries locally.

Mr. Maopu says since Zambia is ranked as a major producer of copper and cobalt, the private sector must reposition itself and be ready to diversify their investment in order to promote value addition to these minerals.

Further, Mr. Maopu has asked Government to expedite the implementation of measures that are tailored to encourage value addition in the mining sector and also offer opportunity to private investors.
