BUS FARES INCREASED

The Road Transport and Safety Agency-RTSA- has approved the upward adjustment of bus fare as requested by bus operators.

RTSA Head Public Relations FREDRICK MUBANGA says this was after a consultative meeting with bus operators last week.

Mr. MUBANGA says Intercity fares have been increased by 10 percent, while Copperbelt and Lusaka Local bus fares have been increased by One Kwacha 50 Ngwee.

In a statement to ZNBC News today, Mr MUBANGA said Inter-Mine Copperbelt and Lusaka Peri urban fares have been increased by Three Kwacha.
