BURAIL FOR ACCIDENT VICTIMS SET FOR WEDNESDAY

Burial for the victims of Saturday’s FATAL accident on the Great North Road in Lusaka, has been set for tomorrow, Wednesday, October 12, 2021.

Of the 12 deceased, 6 adults and 2 children, will be put to rest at Lusaka’s Mtumbi cemetery.

Lusaka Province Permanent Secretary, ELIAS KAMANGA has announced this today, saying government will cater for all the funeral expenses.

Mr KAMANGA says government has also offered the bereaved families relief support.

Twelve people died in the accident, which happened, when a truck hit headon into a bus carrying passengers, at the Great North Road-Chingwere road junction, and several others were left hospitalised.
