Buildcon sign Abel Kanyamuna and Chipyoka Songa

Zambia Super League side, Buildcon has acquired the services of youngsters Chipyoka Songa and Abel Kanyamuna.

Buildcon have secured the services of Songa after the U-20 star left Lusaka Dynamos.

Chipyoka was the one positive about Lusaka Dynamos in the first half of the season which earned him trials at South African DSTV premiership side, Cape Town City.

Songa joined Elite Lusaka Dynamos in November 2020 from Lusaka Provincial Division One side Shamuel Academy

Meanwhile Kanyamuna has joined the Ndola based outfit from Portuguese second-tier side CD Trofense. Kanyamuna has penned a 12 months deal with Team Kopala.

The 19–year old youngster also featured for Italian Serie A side Cagliari’s U-17 and U–19 sides.

In September 2020, Kanyamuna was roped into Italian Serie A TIM side Cagliari Calcio for their preseason in Aritzo, a commune in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia.

Kanyamuna, a product of Chipata Township benefitted from his high school grades that earned him an academic scholarship to Italy.

Zambian connection: Kanyamuna played in the Italian U-19 league with Ivorian winger for Scottish Premiership club Rangers, on loan from Premier League club Manchester United, Amad Diallo. Diallo is now playing alongside Chipolopolo forward Fashion Sakala at Ibrox.

His gateway into Europe was the Ponsacco Football Academy in Italy, where he spent six months learning the language and taking his first steps in Italian football.

He then spent six months at Serie C side U.S. Pistoiese 1921 based in Pistoia, about 60km from Ponsacco.
