Body Builders shape up for Mr. Zambia

By Christabel Lumingu39 body builders are expected to compete in the 2019 Mr. Zambia Bodybuilding and fitness championship slated for tomorrow, in Lusaka.Zambia Body Building and Fitness Federation -ZBBFF- President Cornelius Chanda says the federation is ready to host the event as all logistics are in place.Chanda told ZNBC Sports that 30 participants are from within Lusaka and eight from the Copperbelt and one from Southern province.He noted that reigning Champion Sylvester Mwila will face stiff competition as his competitors have been training adequately.Meanwhile, Chanda disclosed that the federation has started rolling out bodybuilding for females dubbed Miss Fitness and 4 females are expected to compete in tomorrow’s championships.Chanda said this is aimed at encouraging women NOT only to showcase their muscle physic but showcase their physical fitness and enable them to compete at the international level.He has since urged supporters to turn up in numbers for the championships.
