BISHOP LUNGU EXTOLS KK

Chipata Diocese Catholic Bishop George Lungu says Zambians will remain grateful to Dr Kenneth Kaunda because of his good works which were aimed at uplifting the living standards of the people.

Bishop Lungu says Dr Kaunda’s government set up factories in urban and rural parts of the country such as the Bicycle Assembly plant in Chipata and Mansa Batteries factory in Mansa.

He said people will never forget Dr Kaunda’s selfless leadership and love.

Bishop Lungu was speaking during mass to mark the 22nd Anniversary of Radio Maria Zambia in Chipata.

Radio Maria was opened on June 21st, 1999.
