BEWARE OF ELECTION PROPHECIES, WARNS CLERGY

The Evangelical Youth Alliance has cautioned Zambians to be wary of the messages that they consume from some foreign clergy men who are allegedly prophesying on the outcome of Zambia’s August 12 General Election.

Alliance President MOSES LUNGU says people should NOT listen to anybody predicting election results because the country has credible institutions that handle election related activities.

Reverend LUNGU said this in a walk-in interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka today.

And speaking in a similar interview, Destiny Tower Pastor, BOYD NGOSA said the clergy should not use the pulpit for political expedience.

Pastor NGOSA said genuine men and women of God respect leaders and are not known for uttering unpalatable language as has been the case with a named prophet of Nigerian descent based in South Africa.
