Banda Asks Korea to Help Market Zambia’s Tourism

Tourism and Arts Minister Charles Banda has called on South Korean Ambassador to Zimbabwe Cho Jaichel  to help market Zambia as a tourist destination to Koreans.Dr. Banda says, the stronger bilateral relations between the two countries has resulted in more Koreans visiting Zambia.He said this when the Korean ambassador paid a courtesy call on him ahead of the Korean art performance at Lusaka’s Mulungushi Conference Centre tonight.And Ambassador Jaichel  has commended Zambia for been a beacon of peace in Africa.He also disclosed that the 2018 tourist statistics reveals that more than 33,000 South Korean tourists visited the Victoria Falls and a number of them visited the Zambia side.
