AT LEAST 90 HOUSES COLLAPSE IN CHILANGA

At least 90- Houses from two villages in Chilanga District have collapsed due to heavy rains experienced in the past two days.

The two affected villages are Mubanga and Shampule.

A Check by a ZNBC News crew found several families stranded and are being looked after by neighbours.

And the affected families have asked the government to come to their rescue.

Chilanga District Commissioner David Sheleni has confirmed the development stating that government will support the affected people.

Mr. Sheleni said his office will organise relief food for the affected.
