Army will not compromise training standards – ALIBUZWI

By Brian Mwale

The Zambia Army Command says it will not compromise training standards for new recruits.

Army Commander SITALI ALIBUZWI says the Army has maintained high standards and ethics by following training procedures.

Lieutenant General ALIBUZWI says basic military training often prepares recruits for all elements of service including physical, mental, and emotions.

He says this gives the recruits the basic tools necessary to perform the roles that will be assigned to them for the duration of their service in the Zambia Army.

General ALIBUZWI was speaking when he toured the Army Battle Training Area in Lukanga pool.

The Army Commander however, directed the Commanding Officer of the Recruit Training Centre to quickly advise the public doing farming activities and charcoal burning in the area to immediately vacate before the commencement of military training.
