ANOTHER BODY LINKED TO SUSPECTED SERIAL KILLER

By Paul Shalala-Police in Kitwe have discovered remains of a body suspected to have been killed by the 27-year-old suspected serial killer who was arrested on Sunday.

The team, which was led by the suspect, descended on a bush in Nkana West, where the remains were recovered around 11 hours.

A ZNBC News crew which accompanied the team witnessed the process, which took place under a heavy downpour.

Family members of the serial killer’s victims were also on site as the exercise unfolded.

Officers from the Kitwe City Council Public Health Department were on hand to fumigate and handle the remains, which have been placed in a coffin.

Yesterday, another body of a woman was discovered along the Kitwe-Kalulushi road.

And in an interview with ZNBC news, Copperbelt Province Police Commissioner, Elias Chushi said Police officers are currently searching for an unknown number of murder victims in a number of locations.

The suspect, who is yet to be charged, is believed to be behind a series of murders in Kitwe.
