American Soldier In Court Fofr Importing Firearms Without A Permit

A retired American soldier has appeared in the Lusaka Magistrate Court for allegedly importing a firearm into Zambia without permit.
This is in a case in which Larry Sherad Hilmon, 43, is charged with one count of import of firearm and ammunition and prohibition against possession of firearm and ammunition.
It is alleged that Hilmon on June 28 this year in Lusaka without authority and a permit from the registrar of fire arms imported a pistol and 8 rounds of ammunition.
In the second count, Hilmon is alleged to have on the same dates had in his possession a pistol and eight rounds of ammunition without a license.
