Am sorry, says Chishimba Kambwili

PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Roan aspiring candidate Chishimba Kambwili say he is ready to meet PF mayoral aspiring candidate Nathan Chanda so that they can resolve their differences.

Mr Chishimba said he has reflected and prayed over the difference he has had with Mr Chanda and has realized that they need each other.

“The party and Zambia is bigger that all of us. This is a time to put all our differences aside and concentrate on campaigning for the party that we have suffered to build. “If Christ forgave those who persecuted him, who am I not to forgive and forget. I am ready to meet the young man and resolve the issue once and for all,” Mr Kambwili said.

He said PF National youth chairman Hon Kampyongo has been invited to Luanshya to witness the meeting with Nathan Chanda .

Mr Kambwili who is also Minister of Information and Broadcasting has since apologized to President Lungu for the inconvenience that this may have caused him and the party.

He said, “ I unreservedly apologise to all the PF family for my actions. We have the opposition to fight and not among ourselves bless the mighty PF and lets campaign for the President and the party”.

Mr Kambwili said he believes leadership is about forgiveness as Christianity requires. “Our founding president forgave those you insulted and called him names”.

He has also thanked party members Sunday Chanda and Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa Emmanuel Mwamba for their timely advise.
