A 15-year old boy has been murdered over play station games

A 15 year old pupil at Mutende Secondary School in Mansa District in Luapula Province has allegedly been murdered by his elder brother after a misunderstanding over play station games.

Luapula Province Police Commanding Officer, GLORIA MULELE says BWALYA MULENGA was initially abducted on Sunday and his abductors sent a short message service to his grandfather demanding for a ransom of three thousand kwacha.

In a statement to ZNBC News, Ms. MULELE said after investigations, Police managed to track the elder brother of the deceased who confessed having murdered his young brother in the presence of his friend.

Ms. MULELE said the suspect later led the Police to Mansa Golf Grounds were the decomposed body of his young brother was lying.

Meanwhile, a postmortem conducted has revealed that the juvenile died of strangulation.

Police have since arrested the suspect and his friend who have been charged with murder.
