5 UNZA ACCIDENT VICTIMS IN STABLE CONDITION

The five surviving victims of the accident which happened on Great East Road in Lusaka on September 24, 2022, are in a stable condition, but still admitted to Levy Mwanawasa Teaching Hospital.
Hospital Medical Superintendent, JOHN MUSUKU says the accident are awaiting further surgery as most of them suffered multiple fractures in the accident.
Professor MUSUKU says the hospital has since bought metal implants for some of the patients with fractured bones.
He was speaking when Lusaka District Commissioner, ROSA ZULU visited the accident victims.
Ms ZULU, with some stakeholders, has also made a donation of blankets, walking aids and assorted food items worth 20,000 Kwacha, to the accident victims.
