16 POOL PLAYERS TO TAKE PART IN WORLD CUP

Sixteen players will represent Zambia at the 2022 Pool World Cup in Morocco that starts on Monday October 10th, 2022.

Zambia Pool Union General Secretary TESFA SHINKOMBWE says the team comprises 8 men and 8 women.

SHINKOMBWE says preparations have been progressing well for the team and expects the them to win some medals at the Championships.

He told ZNBC news that engagements with Government have been progressive and government has assured support.

Meanwhile, Female pool player JULIET NYIKA advised women to take up pool as a sport.

And MERCY PHIRI said Zambia will have a good run at the tournament because the players have trained tirelessly.
