ZICTA Fines 3 Mobile Service Providers K12.6 Million for Poor Service Delivery

The Zambia Information Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) has shown some teeth by fining mobile service providers Airtel, Zamtel and MTN for failure to meet benchmarks for service delivery.

ZICTA has slapped Zamtel with a K4.8 million fine while Airtel has been handed a fine of K4.2 million with MTN K3.6 million fine.

The combined fine comes to K12.6 million.
