ZESCO To Meet Supersport United In CAF Quarter Finals

Zesco United will face South African side Supersport United in the CAF Confederations Cup Quater Finals after Supersport beat Gabonese side CF Mounana 4-1 in thier Group D match today.
Supersport United’s result means that they end second in the group on 10 points after TP Mazembe beat Guinean club Horoya 2-1 to top the group on 12 points.
Zesco United topped thier own group C without kicking a Ball after the group leaders Al Hilal Obied were kicked out of the competition when the Sudanese FA was suspended by FIFA for political Interference on Thursday.
This left Zesco topping the group on 7 points and they can’t be overtaken by second placed Smouha who are on 4 points as the Zambians have a better head to head.
Zesco United will first travel away to Supersport United between the dates of the 8-11 September before hosting the South Africans between the dates of 15th to 17th of September.
