ZESCO TO CONTINUE POWER PROJECT DRIVE IN 2019

ZESCO says it will continue to implement various power projects next year in a bid to reinforce power supply in the country.
National Spokesperson, Henry Kapata says among such power projects are the 330 Kilo-volts Lusaka Multi-facility Economic Zone and the 15 mega watts Lusiwasi Upper Hydro scheme.
Mr Kapata says the 39.1 million dollars 330 Kilo-volts Lusaka Multi-facility Economic Zone Project is at 92 percent implementation level and will be completed next year.
He also says 84 point nine percent construction processs for the 45 point five million dollars Lusiwasi Upper Hydro scheme, have been implemented .
Mr. Kapata was speaking in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka.
He said the Lusiwasi Upper Hydro scheme, will boost power supply to Muchinga, Northern and Eastern Provinces.
