ZED Top 10 Season 3 kicks off on Zambezi Magic, Channel 160

DStv’s Zambezi Magic has announced the beginning of the all new and exciting season of Zambia’s only top 10 music videos show on DStv, the ‘ZED TOP 10’ which starts airing this Friday 7th October,2016 at 22:00 Hours CAT.

After a six month search for the presenter of the show, season 3 will be anchored by 22 year old University of Zambia student, Benas Banda who beat other contenders for the role.

‘We are excited to have a new look Zed Top 10 with a new presenter who we believe the viewers will love as much as the show. This season will be more interactive and creative and we look forward to the usual support from our viewers through the votes for their favourite videos via our social media platform’ said Addiel Dzinoreva, Head of Zambezi Magic.

Announcing the start of the new season, Dzinoreva further said season 3 will come with amazing segments of the show such as exclusive interviews featuring the hottest names in the Zambian show biz plus more of the freshest videos that have not been seen on the channel before.

‘We are committed to growing the Zambian television and entertainment industry. We have appointed a local production house, MT Productions, to produce the show. This means the show will be very current and fresh. All artists who want to have their videos played on the show can now submit their music videos directly to MT Productions.’ Said Dzinoreva.

Some of the videos that dominated the previous season of ZED TOP 10 include Wacheda’ s Iron Man’ featuring Cactus Agony, Roberto’s Hit Song ‘Amarula ‘Kopala’ finest Hip Hop artist Macky 2 ‘ So much more’ , CHEF 187 with ‘Wala’ and Twezi’s ‘Bumper to Bumper’.

Zed TOP 10 is home to Zambia’s most popular music videos voted by the viewers on Zambezi Magic and airs every Friday at 20:30 Hours on DStv channel 160. Zambezi Magic is available in six Southern African countries on DStv compact, compact plus and Premium bouquets.
