ZAMBIA U20 FACES MOZAMBIQUE

The Zambia Under-20 Men’s Football Team this afternoon wind up their group matches with a clash against the junior mambas of Mozambique at the ongoing 2018 Mopani Copper Mines COSAFA Championship.
Mozambique and Zambia who are pitted in Group (A) have developed a fierce rivalry based on the damage the mambas caused to the Chipolopolo’s dream of Africa Cup of Nations qualification by beating the 2012 champions home and away in the race for the 2019 AFCON.
The two fixtures may be at different levels but the vibe around the Zambian football community has been that of exacting some measure of revenge for the humiliation suffered by the senior team.
And, FAZ Football reports that Coach Charles Bwale and his technical bench have been making steady progress at the tournament with the play improving game by game.
The match will take place at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe at 15;30hours.
In the same group, Malawi and the Democratic Republic of Congo play a dead rubber at the same time at Shinde stadium in Mufulira.
