Zambia U20 Butcher Tenerife 3-0 In Friendly Match

The Zambia U-20 Men’s Football Team on Wednesday warmed up for the FIFA U-20 World Cup with a 3-0 victory over Tenerife B in an international friendly match played at the Ciudud Deportiva CD Tenerife Javier Perez Stadium.
Napsa Stars midfielder Enock Mwepu opened the score in the 50th minute after a goalless first half.
Second half substitute Fashion Sakala who had replaced Edward Chilufya in the 56th minute took only five minutes to hit the target and take the tally to two for the African champions.
Lusaka Dynamos striker Conlyde Luchanga wound up the business in the 81st minute to give Zambia a comfortable 3-0 result.
Coach Beston Chambeshi started with Sakala on the bench giving Musonda Siame a run in but withdrew the Lumwana Radiants player for Kenneth Kalunga in the 77th minute.
The team is holed up in Spain where they will continue warming with some training matches.
Zambia will commence its world cup campaign on May 21 with a match against Portugal
