Young girl brutally raped and murdered in Lusaka, Police say

A YOUNG woman aged between 15 and 18 years old was murdered after reportedly being raped in an unfinished building in Lusaka’s Kanyama compound.Her body was discovered today around 06:30 hours with scratches around the neck and whitish substance on her thigh and with no pants on.Police Public Relations Officer Esther Katongo confirmed the incident and said the deceased is suspected to have been murdered between 01:00hrs and 03:00hrs.Meanwhile, Katongo said the body has been deposited in the UTH mortuary awaiting post mortem.
