When Women Abandon Children For Men: The Case Of Constable Mwansa

A report made available by a group of well-wishers of a community in Kafue district has revealed that a married Woman Police Officer by the name of Constable Mwansa based at Kafue Main Police Station under the Traffic Section has abandoned 2 Children one as young as 3 years old.

It is understood that she fled the matrimonial home in order to conceal a suspected pregnancy conceived from another man, a businessman running a transport company in Mapepe, Chilanga.

Information obtained reveals that when the husband noticed peculiar behaviour surrounding her daily conduct he confronted her knowing surely he was not the one responsible for the suspected pregnancy . As a result of this she faked a quarrel paving a way for an opportunity for her to flee the house.

A source from the work place informed our team that Constable Mwansa has not been reporting for work regularly for the past 3 months now, she merely appears once or twice in a week and not in Uniform.

Information obtained from people close to the family indicate that the husband has been fully aware about his wife misconduct but could not rush into approaching his wife prematurely for fear of spoiling the evidence .

Most interestingly about this story is that an Obstetric record has leaked from a well known expensive medical center in Lusaka where constable Mwansa has registered for antenatal Clinic. Information on her records show all personal details on Constable Mwansa and her Mother as guardian. On the husband`s details appears the name of the business man as STUART CHIBBAMULILO of Mapepe ( Miles Trucking)
