Violence erupts in Chilanga, UPND Candidate attacked

Violence erupted Sunday in Chilanga with Cadres suspected to be from the ruling party, Patriotic Front (PF) attacking the opposition UPND candidate Charmaine Mehl Musonda.
Ms Musonda who was with her campaign team was attacked as they were distributing campaign materials in Chimanja ward, a source told Zambian Eye.
The incidence happened around 16:00 hours and was immediately reported to the police but there was no arrest made by Sunday, as the thugs were reported on the run.
