Unruly bus drivers, making driving in Lusaka nightmare

Dear editor,
DRIVING along some streets in Lusaka especially at peak hour is a nightmare given the congestion coupled with the high cost of fuel.
This is because some drivers always seem to be rushing and end up causing unnecessary traffic jams.
However, if roundabouts were placed in certain areas instead of traffic lights, it would help in controlling traffic to some extent.
Roundabouts are cost-effective in the long run because once constructed they need only minimum attention when compared to the traffic lights that always require periodic maintenance.
By putting up roundabouts on busy roads it will help to curb the undisciplined road users and ensure sanity prevails.
