Two Egyptian Nationals In Chipata Arrested For Rape, Sodomy And Carnal Sex
Two Egyptian nationals in Chipata, Eastern Province have been arrested for rape, sodomy and carnal sex.
Eastern Province Police Commissioner, Luckson Sakala, who has confirmed the arrest of the two foreigners aged 42 and 27 has withheld their names and says another suspect has escaped and is on the run.
Mr. Sakala told Phoenix News in Chipata that the incident happened on Sunday, October 13th in Chipata’s old Jim area around 19:00 hours and the victim involved is a 28-year-old female from Ndola, who is visiting her relatives.
He explained that the suspects put some unknown drugs into an unused condom, which they inserted in the victim’s private part.
Mr. Sakala says the condom was only removed from the hospital, where the lady was admitted and has since been discharged.
The Eastern Province Police Chief says it is believed that the lady was in a sober state while everything happened because she was able to notice that the suspects were taking some boosters.
