Two children killed in house fire identified, Police say

TWO children of the same family aged one year eight months and 14 years respectively have died after their house caught fire.
The incident occurred on Friday around 04:00 hrs in Kanyama’s Chinika area.
Deputy Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga has revealed in a statement to Mwebantu that two pots of wax mixed with suspected Kerosene and two braziers were found at the doorway to the kitchen at the house where the deceased were staying.
Hamoonga said two children were pronounced dead upon arrival at Kanyama level one hospital while four other family members were admitted to the same hospital.
And Hamoonga said the victims were a 38 year old Mercy Mulenga, four female juveniles aged one year nine months, 11years, 14 years, 16 years and a male juvenile aged one year eight months.
