The Zambia Tax Platform Attributes The Current Disorder In The Country To Increasing Levels Of Inequality

The Zambia Tax Platform has attributed the current disorder in the country to increasing levels of inequality among the population.
Inequality is the unfair situation in society when some people have more opportunities, money, and other things than other people.

Zambia tax platform chairperson Leah Mitaba tells phoenix news that high inequalities levels usually is responsible for civil unrest world over.
She added that this should be addressed soon in Zambia because having a huge gap between the rich and the poor causes trouble in society.

Meanwhile the neighborhood watch group in Ndola’s Kabushi Township are demanding money from residents for conducting night patrols following the gassing incidences.

Concerned citizens who spoke to phoenix said the group is requesting that each house hold pays K35.

However patriotic front (PF) Kabushi ward councillor Kennedy Kasaba has described the development as illegal and has demanded for its stop.
