Tasila Lungu Is New Nkoloma Ward Councillor

President Edgar Lungu’s daugther, Tasila, has emerged winner of Nkoloma Ward in Chawama posting a handsome triumph in the race.

Tasila polled 14,152 votes to emerge winner of the ward and secure a place in the Lusaka’s council chambers on the Patriotic Front ticket.

The youthful politician defeated FDD’s Joseph Nyirenda and James Zgambo of UNIP. Surprisingly, the UPND failed to field a candidate in this ward.

There are four wards in Chawama which have all gone to the ruling Patriotic Front. Chawama ward was scooped by Leonard Sikombe, John Howard has gone to Peter Mutale while Mohammed Mutete scooped Lilayi with Moses Bwalya getting Kamwala.
