“STAY AWAY FROM POLITICS”

Zambia Army Deputy Commander Major General Jackson Miti has urged Army officers to refrain from partisan politics and be peace loving citizens that are loyal to the government of the day.
General Miti also says  the army has contributed to Government’s efforts of having a Clean and Green nation in 2018,  through the revival of weekly general cleaning and line inspection.
General Miti was speaking during the Zambia Army Headquarters officers’ annual ball in Lusaka last night.
He said that the Army also contributed greatly during the Cholera outbreak that afflicted many in Lusaka and other parts of the country.
He said the army remains committed to preserving the peace, security and development of the country.
Meanwhile, Mess Committee President Colonel Kelvin Silomba urged officers to reflect on the success and failures in 2018 and make renewed resolutions to turn failures into success in 2019.
