Shepolopolo off to Ivory Coast camp

SHEPOLOPOLO has left for Ivory Coast where the team is expected to play some practice matches as well as acclimatise to West African conditions ahead of the 2018 Africa Women Championship to be hosted by Ghana. The team is camping in the West African country ahead of the tournament which kicks off on November 17. Zambia is in Group B with Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria and South Africa.
The Copper Queens will open their account on November 18 against Equatorial Guinea before playing defending champions Nigeria three days later.

Zambia will wind up its group matches against defending South Africa.

Group B teams will be based in Cape Coast.

The tournament ends on December 1.

The top three teams at the tournament will qualify to the 2019 FIFA World Cup in France.
