SACCORD happy with POA review process
The Southern African Center for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) is elated by the commencement of the process to review the Public Order Act.
Executive Director Boniface Cheembe says his organization is delighted that government has also invited international stakeholders to be part of the review process.
Mr. Cheembe says SACCORD believes that the two day workshop for Members of Parliament on the review of the Public Order Act is a good start.
He says it is the hope of his organization that the outcome of this workshop will feed into the actual reform of the Act and thereby change the legislation into being a source of unity in the Country.
