Saboi Challenges Women To Take an Active Role In Politics

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Lusaka mayoral candidate, Saboi Imboela has challenged women in Zambia to take an active role in the country’s political dispensation.

Ms. Imboela has told Q-News that it’s high time women stood up and took up governance positions in the country without fear of political violence.

She notes that a lot of women fear to join politics because of political violence.

Ms. Imboela has expressed concern that the level of confidence of women in politics has also remained low; a situation she describes as worrisome.

Meanwhile united progressive people (UPP) Lusaka mayoral candidate savior chishimba says he will work with lawmakers in developing the city if elected into office.

Dr. Chishimba who is also UPP president has told q news that he wants to deal with corruption in Lusaka before taking it to the national level.
