“RCOOLZ DIASPORA” YET TO RELEASE EP

The R and B sensation whose real name is Richard Mankomba, is confident that his sound which is laced with Afro-Beat, a genre made popular by modern Nigerian artists, can bring him to international acclaim.

The yet to be titled EP Mankomba is currently working on slated for release in August this year will provide a perfect litmus test for his international abilities.

The 6 track EP is already half way done.

In his quest for continental domination, Mankomba is in the process of recording an EP slated for release in August this year.

“I am working on an EP which will consist of 6songs. I have already done three songs so far and busy recording my other remaining three songs,” he said.

With the backing of local management company SC, the artist has enlisted Malawi’s very own Namadingo as one of the musicians expected to make a guest appearance on the project.

R Coolz who recently released a single entitled ‘Love Chabe’ is enjoying massive airplay on radio stations in both Malawi and Zambia.

Malawi meets Zambia with Malawian producer O.B.K being granted production credits on the recently released single which is expected to make the final cut for the forthcoming EP.

Prior to the release of the single, Mankomba released a music video for a song dubbed ‘Kondeko’ which features Zambian rap sensation Dizmo.

The video currently has over 100 thousand views on YouTube in less than a month of its release.

Mankomba expressed excitement with the manner in which his music has been received in Malawi.

“I have been pushing. My video is showing on all Malawi TV stations. The audio is also playing on most radio stations,” he said.
