Proflight connects music lovers to Bryan Adams show in Durban

Proflight Zambia is flying music fans to watch Bryan Adams in concert this December thanks to its direct flights from Lusaka to Durban.

The legendary Canadian singer, songwriter, record producer, guitarist, photographer, philanthropist and activist will be performing in Durban on December 12, 2017 to launch his new album ‘Get Up’.

Proflight and travel agent Voyagers Zambia have put together a special package to enable musical fans to travel and witness his remarkable ‘Get Up’ Show at the Durban International Convention Centre.

Watch the legend perform and do what he does best on stage: making music. Be there to see one of the world’s great rock singers perform the golden classics as well as his new compositions.

“Proflight flies three flights a week from Lusaka to Durban route, and we are happy to partner with Voyagers to offer music fans this golden opportunity to see the Bryan Adams show in Durban,” said Proflight director of government and industry affairs Capt. Philip Lemba.

The two-night special package provides return flights on Proflight to Durban with accommodation, breakfast and a ticket to the show. This package is centred at making the travellers time count and planning easier, he added.

Travellers from Lusaka to Durban pay only US$640 per person sharing and from Ndola to Durban the package is US$690 per person sharing with accommodation at the Garden Court Marine Parade, daily breakfast and ticket to the show. The special package excludes transfer in Durban, other meals, beverages and personal expenses.

Bryan Adams – who has a cousin who farms in Zambia and an uncle who lives in Durban – is hitting the road on a global tour following the release of his thirteenth studio album Get Up. The show is not only about the old classics, but the legend adds to the show some of his new compositions from the new album.

Adams’ outstanding live concerts have established him as one of the world’s great rock singers, performing over 120 concerts a year. His status as one of the great songwriters of our time has been solidified with a Grammy Award, 18 Juno Awards and an American Music Award. He has also been nominated for three Academy Awards and five Golden Globes.

He has sold over 65 million records, toured six continents and achieved #1 status in over 40 countries around the world. With hits like, “Cuts Like A Knife”, “Summer of ’69”, “Kids Wanna Rock”, “Can’t Stop This Thing We’ve Started”, “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”, “Open Road” and “Thought I’d Seen Everything.”

Proflight flies direct from Lusaka to Durban three times a week. The two-and-a-half-hour flight departs from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 08:15 on Sundays and 09:50 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and returns from Durban at 11:25 on Sundays and 13:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
