Pres. Lungu Arrives In Addis Ababa

Pres. Lungu AddisPresident Edgar Lungu has arrived in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia for the 28th African Union Ordinary Heads of State summit.

And President Lungu has reportedly put his stamp on reshuffles and recalls in the diplomatic and at permanent secretary level.

The Head of State will join other Presidents where elections for the African Union chairperson and other positions will be conducted with some Zambians putting up bids in some committees.

He is expected to arrive in Addis Ababa around 16:00 hours and will hold bilateral talks with several Heads of State whilst in Ethiopia.

On reshuffles the mass of ruling party supporters that have been waiting on the wings to step in after President Lungu won the August 11 elections may finally have their chance.

The replacements will be a start of putting the stamp of the President Lungu era following his having won the elections to shake off the shadow of his predecessor Michael Sata.
